Hebei Orient Sundar Window Co., Ltd (hereafter referred to as Orient Sundar) is the only large scale Sino-German joint venture in China, with total capital of RMB380 million, mainly producing modern energy-efficient doors and windows. Orient Sundar has two industrial parks built in accordance with German industry standards (DIN), occupying a total area of 600 mu. Orient Sundar is a chief contributor helping to determine national standards for energy-saving doors and windows. It also owns the first province-level corporate technological center within the industry and has been granted Class A Certificates for the construction of curtain walls and the installation of metal doors. Orient Sundar produces new types of energy-efficient doors and windows such as timber mullion-transom doors and windows, German style aluminum clad wood doors and windows, solid wood doors and windows, Italian style wood-aluminum composite doors and windows， heat-insulation aluminum alloy doors and windows as well as curtain walls and conservatories. Among them, the energy-efficient timber mullion-transom-system window is an exclusive high-tech product from Orient Sundar, being a combination of more than ten patents and winner of the National Science and Technology Achievement prize in 2008.
